Elementary Artic Academy Days

Grades PK-5

 Arctic Academy Lessons are designed to allow students to continue to learn while at home when there is an unscheduled school cancellation.

Pre-K Students

Arctic Academy Activity Packets are sent home by the classroom teacher as needed. Activities are also available on Remind and SeeSaw. All activities use objects from around the home to promote school readiness, and reinforce activities learned in the classroom. Pre-K teachers will be available by phone and email on Arctic Academy days. See your school’s schedule for times.

Kindergarten through Second Grade Students

Students in Kindergarten through Second grade will be bringing Chromebooks home. Their Arctic Academy day activities will be a combination of online and paper activities. Teachers will be available for questions and will be online for short lessons with students. See your school’s schedule for times.

Third through Fifth Grade Students

Students in Third through Fifth grade will bring their Chromebooks home. They will have live sessions with teachers, as well as assignments to complete on their own throughout the day. Teachers will be available for questions, and will be online for lessons with students. See your school’s schedule for times.

Attendance

Students who complete their Arctic Academy lessons will be counted present for the day. All assignments must be turned in within two school days of the Arctic Academy day.
