MYLAN PARK ELEMENTARY RECEIVES $5,000 DONATION FROM THE NEW BURLINGTON STORE

Morgantown, WV -  Burlington Stores, the national discount retailer, opened its doors in Monongalia County's new West Ridge location this morning. Through its partnership with the national non-profit organization, AdoptAClassroom.org, Burlington has donated $5,000 towards school supplies to Mylan Park Elementary in celebration of its new store.

A representative from AdoptAClassroom.org contacted school administrators and helped to secure the donation, which will provide new supplies for each teacher’s classroom.

According to Principal Anne Lupo, teachers will use the funds on a number of new classroom items to welcome students in the fall of 2022. "We are thankful that we are so supported by our community," said Principal Lupo. "Our teachers will use the funds to make the classrooms warm and inviting for all students."

Monongalia County Schools welcomes Burlington and all our new neighbors at West Ridge.
